There is nothing like a cuppa’ tea and a biscuit or a nice slice of cake. Britain was brought up on tea and biscuits, many a problem has been overcome with the aid of tea and biscuits, although tea is something I don’t supply (yet) biscuits certainly are. Now when I say biscuits I am referring to British biscuits (cookies) but the Great British Bakery isn't limited to just biscuits, it is a haven of British bakery items from scones (obviously) to wonderful cakes - large and small, meringues, pastries savoury and sweet, bites, slices and bars. The list goes on, really, it does.
I relocated here the beginning of 2012 to marry an American man, the love of my life, Levi (you will see him with me at the Markets). I have a fully licensed Domestic Bakery, the kitchen is in Hillsboro and this is where all the treats are concocted.
Great British Bakery is all about baking traditional British bakery items and staples from my childhood. My recipes are from Great Britain, many of which handed down to me from mum (the amazing woman that got me in to this baking lark) and other people in my life. Baked with love, baked with passion and baked with some bloody good old British hard work.
